Enhanced Random Target Finder - User Guide
🚀 Quick Start
Step 1: Install the Script
- Make sure you have Tampermonkey extension installed in your browser
- Copy the Enhanced Random Target Finder script
- Open Tampermonkey Dashboard → Create new script
- Paste the script and save (Ctrl+S)
Step 2: Get Your API Key (Essential!)
- Go to https://www.torn.com/preferences.php#tab=api
- Click "Generate New Key"
- Important: Set access level to "Limited Access" or higher
- Copy the 16-character key (example:
abc123xyz789def0)
Step 3: Basic Setup
- Visit any Torn.com page
- Look for the 🎯 Find Target and ⚙️ buttons on the right side
- Click the ⚙️ settings button
- Paste your API key in the "API Key" field
- Click "Save Settings"
⚙️ Configuration Guide
Basic Settings
- Min/Max User ID: Range of player IDs to search (default: 2,700,000 - 3,400,000)
- API Key: Required for level and battle stats filtering
- Max Retries: How many attempts before giving up (default: 15)
- Open in new tab: Check to open targets in new browser tab
- Use attack link: Check for attack page, uncheck for profile page
Level Filter
- Min Level: Lowest player level to target (e.g., 15)
- Max Level: Highest player level to target (e.g., 35)
Battle Stats Filter
Enable battle stats filtering: Turn on/off stat-based targeting
Filter Types:
- Total Battle Stats: Set min/max for combined strength + defense + speed + dexterity
- Individual Stats: Set separate ranges for each stat

🔍 How to Use
- Configure your settings using the ⚙️ button
- Click 🎯 Find Target to start searching
- Wait for the search - button shows "🔍 Searching..."
- Success: Opens target page and shows notification with details
- No results: Adjust your filters and try again
📊 Understanding Notifications
Success Notification Shows:
- Target ID number
- Player level
- Total battle stats
- Individual stat breakdown (if using individual filtering)

⚠️ Troubleshooting
"No suitable target found"
Causes:
- Filters too restrictive
- Not enough retries
- Poor ID range
Solutions:
- Increase max retries to 20-25
- Widen your level or stat ranges
- Expand your User ID range
- Check if API key is working
Script not appearing
Solutions:
- Refresh the page
- Check Tampermonkey is enabled
- Verify script is active in Tampermonkey dashboard
API Issues
Error signs:
- Only getting random targets without level/stat info
- "API Error" in console
Solutions:
- Verify API key is correct (16 characters)
- Ensure API access level is "Limited" or higher
- Check if you're in federal jail (disables API)

Efficient Targeting
- Start broad with your filters, then narrow down
- Use level ranges that match your own level ±10
- Set realistic stat ranges - don't make them too narrow
Smart ID Ranges
- 2,700,000 - 3,400,000: Good mix of active players
- 3,200,000+: Newer players, easier targets
- 2,500,000 - 2,700,000: Older accounts, potentially stronger
Battle Strategy
- Total stats under 100k: Usually easy wins
- Individual filtering: Target specific weaknesses
- Check recent activity: Profile shows "last action" time
Avoiding Issues
- Don't spam search - respect the 15-second delay
- Keep retries reasonable - too high wastes time
- Save different presets by noting your successful settings
