This script is now deprecated, please switch to Twitter Prime to block Twitter ads and stuff.

This is the Plaid Edition of this script https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/464520-block-promoted-tweets-and-stuff

Still 100% approved, and does all of the same glorious things, but it also has a "Plaid Mode" that will automatically hunt for promoted tweets to block.

Since this is too much power for mere mortals to handle, it is disabled by default.
To prove your worthiness, you will need to edit the script to somehow enable it.
If you are successful, a new option will appear in the left pane.

NOTES:

  • Your browser tab might eventually crash with some dubious "Out of memory" error, because Big Browser is out to get you. Concerning.
  • Twitter will eventually become disgusted with you and stop giving you new ads to block. You'll have to wait a while to see more.
  • The numbers of tweets blocked in one run is updated on screen. My high score is 28. Can you beat that? I bet you can't.
