After updating manually to the current 1.3.1, I am getting the attached error on update checks. If there is any kind of error with @updateURL meta key, it is either caused by GreasyFork (most likely it is GreasyFork because URL in screenshot doesnt seem valid) or Greasemonkey.
Yes, looks like it's a combination of awkward Greasy Fork behavior and how the GM extension deals with it. Should be solved soon. Your excellent userscript should be irrelevant here.
