What happens when you click onto a link of a sound file?
Well, you can test it here.

If you expected to actually hear the sound while reading further, this script can help you.

old text below:
Learning a foreign language becomes easier, if you can use sound samples to improve.
When You click onto a link of a sound file a lot of annoying things can happen. (depending on configuration)

  • A dialog box ask, where to store the file.
  • An over featured media player begins to load... eventual the expected sound plays.
  • Your favorite background music stops to play the clicked sound.
Nothing of the above is appropriate, if you just wanted to listen to a sound sample.
Fortunately, with this script is it possible to just play the sound.

(The link functionality remains, you can use the context menu for alternative actions.)
