Tell websites I don't have flash installed

Is there a way to tell websites that I don't have flash installed?

What I need is, I want to keep the plugin on "Ask to activate", but when doing so, websites still know I have flash installed and ask me to use it (to watch videos for example).

I know I can just set it to "Never activate", but that disables it completely.. And sites that only use flash player will be unable to play the content (like any flash games site). Essentially forces moving back and forth to the addons manager all the time, to disable/enable the plugin.

So in conclusion, I need a script or an extension to tell websites I don't have flash installed, thus forcing them to give me the html5 content. Also disable the popin message "Allow flash to run on 'website' ". But not to disable the button in the url-bar. All while having the plugin setting set to "Ask to activate".

This script hides ALL plugins, which is not what you want to do, but it shows what objects you probably need to modify.

I can recommend QuickJava plugin. To watch flash video, click 'enable flash' button and reload webpage.

That actually does a pretty good job, thanks.

I recommend this custombutton.
Toggle Restartless Add-ons

It toggles restartless Addons and also toggles all Plugins.
Need to install Custombuttons Addon.
More Custombuttons 250 where a lot of them are like mini-addons.

No, because they don't ask.
Either the web master provides a fallback for his preferred technology or not.
Some time ago, was Flash the only way for videos. Then came HTML5 as a fallback. Nowadays is Flash the fallback at all modern sites. Soon Flash will disappear for video streaming.
Whoever made that software has left Adobe a long time ago, I bet. They can only provide fake updates with the mere intent to remember the user of their existence.
Some sites are hesitant to change. They fear the maintenance cost will cut from advertising income. Usually, these sites don't have the necessary licenses too.

Today is Flash still a necessity for sharing or live streaming due to needed protocols.

There are a lot of project out there to provide a way to show videos without flash.
My yahvt is an example. It just looks, if the name of a video resource is contained in the current HTML document. That works at file sharing platforms like mp4upload, trollvid, videonest, videowing, playbb, easyvideo, yucache and lot of others, but not at videoweed.
