Seems to have stopped working (While it did work it was great!)

Script used to work great, seems like something is wrong with it or pinterrest changed

I can't seem to find a page that shows modal pop ups with my script activated. Could you link one?

Just so you know Zsolt isn't crazy, I was experiencing the same:
https://www.pinterest.com/freshairedesign/
https://www.pinterest.com/victorpiqo/something-stupid/
...and every other page I tried. I'm using 1.5 with Greasemonkey on Firefox patched to the latest.

Uninstalled script in Greasemonkey, reinstalled from Greasy Fork... magically started working again. Might wanna try that, Zsolt... might wanna look into that, Lazza.

By the way, Lazza, you are a true hero of anonymity on the Interwebs. You're the only thing keeping the peace between my wife (who has a severe Pinterest addiction) and my security sensibilities. Keep fighting the good fight. However, I'm Mormon, so I can't buy you coffee ;-]

I'm glad you sorted it out.

It's actually hard to diagnose a problem that goes away after a simple reinstall. It is likely depending on some transient error on a specific user's PC.

you are a true hero of anonymity on the Interwebs

That's quite a huge compliment, thanks.

I've found the the script works on some pinterest pages and not others (here is one that doesn't work https://www.pinterest.com/tangram11/wood-boxes/)

I cannot reproduce this problem. Did you guys try to reinstall the extension and the script? If you reinstalled, maybe Pinterest shows different banners in different countries. What countries are you in?

Тимур Тимурович, you are also using a very old Chrome version, I do not know if this is related.

a very old Chrome version

Just posted from Chrome.

Pinterest shows different banners in different countries.

Seems this. I tried TOR-browser and script is working. With pure Firefox it doesn't. I am from Russia.

I have the same problem. Looks like pinterest removes all the classes and replace them with inline styles (crazy, I know). I see the same behaviour both in Firefox and Chrome, but in IE the classes are intact. Maybe the script that inlines the classes just fails in IE lol.

I can't reproduce the problem on this particular page and that's after pinterest added in the au. prefix as I'm in Australia.

However it does reappear here: https://au.pinterest.com/pin/170151692141821578/

@Lazza perhaps run a VPN from Australia to see if you can reproduce.

Тимур Тимурович (sorry, I cannot tag names with spaces), @paulh2000, @etacarinae please try the new version.

@Torvin, I finally was able to reproduce what you mentioned. Indeed some classes have been removed.

Not working when click to see the detail on any picture. i.e.: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/407786941239742185/?from_navigate=true
Reproduced from outside and inside the US.

@Cacho, thank you for pointing out that the issue was for single pins. You should try version 1.7.

§

1.7 is better, however, it still disables the scrollbar. If you could get the scrollbar working, that would be perfect.

@helpdeskdan my script does not disable scrollbars, Pinterest disables them. What page are you referring to?

I've found that you can get scrolling back if you add this dynamic filtering rule to uBlock Origin:
pinterest.com https://s-passets-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/webapp/js/pjs-67 script block

Edit: Well, this was pointless. I added your script but had forgotten to enable Tampermonkey in Incognito where I was doing my testing. Your script works beautifully with no help from me. Thanks!
