I don't think a script would help much, but some results when searching for "firefox mailto outlook" look promising.
Register mailto links for Outlook.com on Firefox
Currently Firefox only gives me options for Yahoo and Gmail. When i click on a mailto link, nothing happens. I want set it up so it works with Outlook.com, is it possible to create a script for that?
