TCAT - Torn Chain Alerter and Tools

TCAT Logo

This script provides customizable chain timer alerts and tools to help you manage and navigate your chain target lists efficiently. It was thought of, created, and tested during a 2k+ chain. Using Google's GeminiAI, I created this script in the hopes that it will help save some chains!

Features

Chain Watch Alerts

Be alerted during minute intervals via customizable tab flashes and window borders placed around the screen. Supports Emoji!

  • * 4, 3, 2, 1 minute and 30-second interval alerts with Emergency Actions *
  • * Customizable color choices, Emoji Placements in tab alerts, and options per interval to choose how the user is alerted *
  • * EMERGENCY ACTIONS - Includes optional alerts to trigger. (Start Fight tab opener, YouTube video set as active tab) *

Chain Tool

Create and save multiple named lists to store target player IDs,Names,Level and current Status for use with an integrated fight page navigator, resulting in seamless and effective chain stacking.

  • * Save/Load/Delete/Filter lists of user IDs for specific attack routines and pull full faction member information (Or just a certain number!) via the API in a fully adjustable menu and list loader. *
  • * Once a list is loaded, the user can use the "Next Target" or "Previous Target" buttons to have the start fight pages open in a new tab, where the user then kills their target. Close the tab, and the next target button is waiting to open the next user in the list. *

Discord Webhook Integration

Allows custom Discord messages to be sent via a Webhook when the user running this script is mugged/hospitalized/killed and shows who for quick retaliation hits during a chain.

Get a webhook link for the server you want to notify in Server Settings > Integrations > Webhooks > Create Webhook.

  • * Input your Torn Name and ID, or have the API autofill for you. *
  • * Fully customize the message content using various placeholders {yourName},{yourId},{yourProfileUrl},{attackerName} etc *

V1.2 Update

  • Rewrote base to be faster/smoother.
  • Added Menu Resize Options.
  • API v1/v2 implemented.
  • Added custom emergency tab open per interval.
  • Implemented Discord Embeds as messages (Will include API Alerts and messages in future like bazaar sales, item market sales OC ending etc.).
  • Added API Usage Agreement.
  • Major: Faction member dumper within the tool chain, with filters and clipboard feature for faction member name, level, and status dumping in one click.
  • API Usage Restrictions (100 per minute) with limits and warnings.
  • Major: Retaliation Discord Webhook alert (Alert a Discord Webhook when you are attacked and by who for fast retaliation during chains).
  • Due to the limitations of Userscripts, storing audio or streaming it can be a hassle. My workaround is opening a tab and forcing it active, enabling a YouTube video or the like to autoplay, hence becoming an audio alert.

Upcoming Features (To-Do)

  • Implement Discord Webhook customization and alerts for different things the API tells us like OC Status, EDU Status, Booster cooldowns, and the like. This will be implemented in the next version.
  • Find other things we can utilize the API for.

Will it work for me?

This was tested on Chrome and Firefox using TamperMonkey. Anything that can run UserScripts should work. Torn PDA status is unknown, but most likely not usable. It may function with default settings in a perfect scenario, so the base alerts should still work. Don't expect errors, but please report any you find (Such as menu not loading, no menu option when opening TM Extension, along with a TCAT Debug error log from the console). I currently have no plans to support TornPDA, as the menu is most likely going to be the main issue.
