Niro's GS Speedrun Timer

This user script adds a speedrun timer to Getaway Shootout that displays your run time in a minutes:seconds:milliseconds format and lets you record (currently unadjusted) split times for each level.

Installation

  1. Install a User Script Manager: Get Tampermonkey or Greasemonkey.
  2. Create a New Script: Copy the entire code from this repository into a new user script.
  3. Save and Enable: Save the script and ensure it’s active.
  4. Navigate to a Supported Website: Open one of the supported Getaway Shootout sites and start your run.

How to Use

  1. Select Getaways: When you open a supported site, you'll be prompted to choose the number of getaways (3, 4, or 5).
  2. Start the Timer: Press 1 to start the timer. (The first press only starts the timer — no split is recorded.)
  3. Record Splits: Press 1 again at the end of each stage to record a split.
  4. Pause: Press 2 to pause the timer.
  5. Reset: Press 0 to reset the timer and splits for a new run. Note: If one of your splits is gold, you are on World Record pace! Timing starts on the frame of first input and ends the frame the screen tints to show "Player X Wins!".

  • This timer runs on several sites, old and new!
