Usability issues with version 4

About: HaremHeroes Automatic++

It has become very difficult to play this game now without the script interfering.

Example: The script is running, but I want to to go into the Market to carefully plan to level up certain girls so I can win in one of the XP contests.
Expectation: I expect the script to let me do this in peace if I open the Market in a new tab.
Bug: The new tab has the same Script settings as my old tab, and the script goes Bananas and won't let me buy anything in the market, or let me scroll through the girls to see which are the best for me to level up.

So the current scrip forces me to handle everything in 1 browsertab. That means in crucial moments like 55seconds before a contest ends, the Script can go Bananas and lead me away from the Contest page to some quest or some other Arena thing, or League thing, thus resulting in me losing the 1st place or lose the 4th place in the contest.

This isn't very ideal. I need some way to browse the Market in peace without the Scrip interrupting me, and I also need to be able to browse the Contest page in peace as well.
In Version 3, the script was friendly and let me do this if I made a new tab.
In version 4, the script is super aggressive and controls everything, even though the user may have some superior strategic insight as to which girls he need to level up for which type of contests.

Anyone else feel the same way?

  • Same here.
Author changed from "sessionStorage" for "localStorage".
I've changed every occurrence in the script from "localStorage" to "sessionStorage", and returned to work as before.

  • Ah, nice. I didn't know it was that easy to revert back. Thanks for the help Jaraya.

  • You're welcome.
I read in another feedback that the author intended to do this.

  • Several people were complaining, that settings didn't save after closing and opening new tab. Now you complain that they DO save :(

I still prefer current situation, because you can just temporarily disable the script (2 clicks) if needed.

Who complained is because uses a browser that does not save like Opera.
I like to leave the script active on a tab and do other things, like going to the Market, on another tab.

  • Just have both, one script with localStorage and one with sessionStorage, each one chooses their own preferred.
